We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our burgeoning International Sovereign Cloud Expansion team! This is a unique opportunity to ensure the security health and compliance of our services within our sovereign clouds. Your primary responsibility will be developing and implementing strategies and tools to maintain cloud service integrity while adhering to strict data boundary requirements. You will work on projects involving in-boundary alerts, cloud-agnostic reporting platforms, and managing compliance in a regulated environment. Collaborating with partner teams and the National Cloud Operating Entity (NCOE), you will help ensure effective governance and enable regulator-approved data transfers that integrate seamlessly with our public cloud operations. This role requires a proactive individual with organizational, communication, and leadership skills to drive results and influence the success of our engineering teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Understand sovereign cloud data boundary requirements and security health maintenance.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience. 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos). 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Proven experience in program management, particularly within security and cloud environments.
    Experience with security program ownership and collaboration with multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and management in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulator-approved data transfer processes.
  • Collaboration and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to security and governance challenges.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Reportability and Security Health: Ensure the security health of services and adherence to data boundary requirements in new clouds.
  • Alerts and Reporting Platforms: Develop in-boundary alerts and cloud-agnostic reporting platforms for security metrics.
  • Policy and Compliance Tools: Create tools to manage suppressions, track exceptions, and handle deviations from policy in sovereign clouds.
  • Data Transfer Processes: Deploy and manage processes for regulator-approved data transfer in sovereign clouds.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure compliance and governance of services in sovereign clouds.
