Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design
- OR Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design
- OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years experience working in Product or Service design
- Demonstrated sense of Interaction Design attuned to the fundamentals of user experience
- Extensive experience in accessibility and inclusive design
- Strong Visual Design skills
- Excellent communication and presentation / storytelling skills, with the ability to energize teams and advocate for your ideas
- Experience designing in Figma

Product Design IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration with creative team members, program managers, developers, and executive stakeholders to define, iterate, and implement new and existing product features, ensuring alignment with business, technical, and user requirements.
- Design System Knowledge: Act as the Design System authority by overseeing the adoption and consistency of design standards across multiple teams, including the design systems team, evaluating industry updates, and advocating for the acquisition or enhancement of design systems to maintain high-quality craftsmanship.
- Design Excellence: Understand the behaviors, motivations, and needs of our customers to develop and deliver relevant and impactful experiences.
- Strategic Product Design and Prototyping: Drive the product design lifecycle from conception to delivery, including schedule alignment, dependency tracking, expansive prototyping initiatives, and ensuring designs meet user needs and company standards through detailed interaction models and user experience enhancements.
- Compelling Communication and Storytelling: Develop and communicate persuasive product stories to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and key stakeholders, to inspire excitement and garner support. Influence product strategy and design decisions through effective storytelling and presentation of design concepts.
