The
EMEA Data centre Community Affairs (CA) team is looking for a Community Affairs Program Manager for the region. The CA Program Manager plays a important role support the team to become more data driven to increase impact and efficiency.

This team is part of Microsoft’s data centre organization – Cloud Operations + Innovation – supporting the growth and operations of Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure by partnering with the people and organizations in data centre communities to drive social opportunity, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree
    OR equivalent experience

Experiences Required:

  • Understanding of research methodologies, and experience in developing and sharing strategic recommendations from a broad range of data sources (e.g., survey data, social intelligence, qualitative research, online telemetry, business metrics)
  • Ability to build PowerBI and more reporting dashboards
  • Ability to work across groups, marshalling resources toward a common goal and drive for results.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled at prioritization, creating order out of ambiguity.
  • Excellent communications skills (e.g., listening, written, oral, and data visualization)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multinational environment working across multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Planning: Supporting the EMEA Community Affair Team with analysis and organization of quantitative and qualitative research data gathering, driving execution excellence.
  • Process Optimization: improve efficiency and effectiveness (including change management) of project internally, to demonstrate community work by creating an impact quantification method.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Support the team in optimizing impact reporting by developing strong methodologies to measure track community sentiment, create/ improve dashboards and advise the local Community Affairs manager and the regional CA LT on areas for improvement.
  • You will partner with others (regional and global Community Affairs team) to collect performance metrics, monitor and report on progress (e.g., business reviews) and derive insights that lead to productive courses of action to improve development, iteration, and implementation of a feature (e.g., product, service)
  • You will help leverage community listening systems, engagements (e.g., interviews, surveys), etc., to develop insights into CA performance and community needs
  • You will assist with the evaluation of the community execution plans, with support from senior colleagues and support to build our social license to operate
  • You will assist others in identifying opportunities and gaps in the execution of Community Affairs activities by assessing quality and performance metrics
  • You will assist the regional teams in community interactions to accelerate or meet project timeline by identifying community conditions of success for the project
  • You will embody our culture and values.
