The Azure Platform Core Marketing team is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and support the customer advocacy process end-to-end and manage marketing launch efforts for Azure Marketing. You will be part of a dynamic team to amplify the value of Azure products and solutions to drive customer adoption. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the growth of the Azure customer advocacy program to showcase Azure enterprise value. You will understand product truths to drive compelling story and messaging targeting our Azure audience that include technical decision makers, IT professionals, data professionals, and developers. You will also be responsible for managing the planning & execution of marketing launches for key moments & disclosures across Azure, and often in partnership with other product marketing groups within Microsoft. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful launches that drive customer engagement and business growth. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced work environment, experienced in driving high impact marketing activities, and excel in navigating complex ecosystems to deliver results. In this role, you will be action-oriented, and customer-focused with an outside-in view of customer needs.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home. This role is in the United States.

Responsibilities

Customer Advocacy

  • Lead and manage the customer evidence process and Rhythm of Business (RoB) to drive advocacy of Azure products and services, supporting key marketing moments and activities such as events, narratives, product pitch decks, Gartner market studies, company earnings, and sales enablement.
  • Partner with cross-functional key stakeholders (product marketing, Global Demand Center (GDC), Public Relations (PR), Analyst Relations (AR), and sales) to build marquee customer stories for Azure, showcasing customers’ deployment successes.
  • Collaborate closely with Evidence Studio on planning and prioritization of evidence requests that support business priorities.
  • Act as a storyteller and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive Azure messaging integration.

Marketing Launches

  • Manage the planning and execution of marketing launches for key moments and disclosures across Azure to showcase enterprise value, in close partnership with product marketing groups within Azure marketing and/or other product marketing groups within Microsoft.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (product marketing, PR, AR, GDC) to ensure successful launches that drive customer engagement and business growth.
  • Collaborate with product marketing leads and GDC leads on the planning, execution, and analysis of key moments and launches, developing comprehensive launch plans including timelines, key milestones, and deliverables.
  • Partner with product marketing leads to define and implement go-to-market strategies for key moments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, marketing, or related discipline AND 5+ years experience in commercial product marketing and/or integrated marketing in the technology industry with commercial experience
    • OR Master's Degree in business management, marketing, or related discipline AND 3+ years experience in commercial product marketing and/or integrated marketing in the technology industry with commercial experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in leading customer advocacy programs, focusing on enterprise customers, or related.
  • 5+ years experience partnering with cross-functional teams for marketing launches (campaigns or product disclosures).
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, marketing, or related discipline AND 8+ years experience in commercial product marketing and/or integrated marketing in the technology industry with commercial experience
    • OR Master's Degree in business management, marketing, or related discipline AND 6+ years experience in commercial product marketing and/or integrated marketing in the technology industry with commercial experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success as a storyteller, with writing and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams for marketing launches (campaigns or product disclosures).
  • Ability to define and deliver vision, strategy, and execution models for marketing launches.
  • Ability to lead and influence through ambiguity in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience as a collaborator who can effectively drive desired business outcomes working with executives and a wide range of cross-group stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to dissect & work through challenges.
  • Ability to learn and develop a understanding of Azure products and solutions.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
