The Azure AI team is a growing organization that consists of Specialist and Technology experts, who focus on specific domains, industries, and workloads, such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, Application Development and Machine Learning.
As the AI Enablement & Community Lead - Small & Medium Business, you will work within our worldwide Data & AI commercial solution area, collaborating with internal organizations, to develop AI sales and technical skilling plans to drive seller and business success. You will identify skilling needs and develop listening mechanisms to provide insights. You will also develop an AI seller community, which will serve to nurture sellers and provide a platform for them to share experiences and proven practices.

Responsibilities
Sales Readiness Program Leadership
- Develops and executes high-quality Azure AI Sales and Technical skilling projects/programs across organizational boundaries, including live and on-demand.
- Practices seller-centric approach in scoping learning outcomes for skilling projects.
- Identifies, evaluates, and proposes new readiness projects based on unmet needs.
- Collaborates with Data & AI readiness team to leverage existing events and readiness engines.
- Collaborates with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Field Sales) for holistic field readiness planning.
- Advises senior leadership as a domain expert to inform planning decisions.
- Demonstrates influence through collaboration across multiple divisions.
- Plans and executes holistic onboarding plan for new sellers.
- Collaborates with landing leads to coordinate AI readiness landing strategy to ensure smooth landing, field execution and seller capability building.
- Leads, manages, and adjusts plans to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Develops and leads AI field community to nurture seller success.
- Leverages listening systems, business reviews, etc. to discover skills gap/needs.
- Synthesizes findings into insights, leveraging executive presence to influence decisions and proactively drive solutions.
- Embody our Culture and Values
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales enablement, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience in Management Consulting, Sales, Sales Enablement.
- 3+ years of experience in either channel enablement OR technical sales enablement.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platform: Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Platforms platform (data platforms, analytics, and app innovation) and the role AI plays in unlocking Cloud Platform value.
- AI Landscape: Understanding of Microsoft's AI technologies (or competitive AI technologies) and AI technology landscape; understanding of AI and ML processes within organizations.
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem and digital natives enablement needs.
