We design, build, and manage the levers that accelerate commercial growth—including compensation, business performance and insights, planning, skilling, tooling, and engineering.

The General Manager of Go-To-Market (GTM), Sales Planning and Operations is hiring a Senior Business Manager to lead business process and budget management, along with people and culture initiatives. This role has responsibility for defining, improving, and orchestrating a cross functional operational rhythm of business, ensuring strategic alignment to the business priorities of the GM and the broader GTM, Sales Planning & Operations organization. You will also build strategy that cultivates a positive work environment by proactively addressing cultural challenges and collaborating with HR to foster a thriving organizational culture.

The candidate should be self-directed with an ability to manage through ambiguity and look around corners to anticipate business needs. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels and solid financial acumen. Critical to the success of this role, the candidate should be able to operate at all altitudes with a willingness and capability to do the work, not just manage it. The candidate should be effective in developing critical processes, standard operating procedures, and communications that facilitate the health of the business.

Structurally, this role reports to the General Manager of GTM, Sales Planning and Operations. The successful candidate will partner with a wide range of stakeholders in the MCAPS E&O organization, including the Executive Office.

This U.S.-based role offers flexibility in that you can work remotely from home or a Microsoft office near you. As part of a global team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across various time zones with core hours aligned to Pacific Time.
