In Device Partner Sales (DPS), we innovate with partners to deliver amazing AI-powered devices and cloud experiences to customers. DPS is crucial in expanding the company’s reach by collaborating with device partners to create devices optimized for the Microsoft Cloud.

As a Partner Channel Marketing Manager in the US you will engage across a portfolio of leading Channel Partners and DPS to define integrated marketing strategies and plans that accelerate new market opportunities for Microsoft and the partners. Specifically, you will work collaboratively with counterparts at the partners to deliver joint value propositions for the partners services and solutions. This includes defining the marketing strategy, campaign development and measurement, solution launch plans, ‘better together’ messaging and marketing content, demand generation initiatives, pipeline acceleration activities as well as joint PR and event marketing. We are looking for a Partner Marketing Manager capable of managing strategy and operations to support Go-To-Market (GTM) transformation using data, insights, and technology platforms. This individual will have the opportunity to strengthen their critical thinking skills, gain a deeper understanding of our partner business model, excel at influencing marketing and sales teams to come together on a single, cohesive strategy to build opportunities for our customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the development of new partner capabilities, as well as evaluate ROI by measuring the end-to-end impact of the partner experience. You’ll also manage marketing funds to ensure the budget is properly spent, and help with investments by executing on new business opportunities.
  • You will ensure proof of execution compliance, seeking out exceptions to policies with CELA stakeholders. You’ll also measure the impact of campaigns and projects by identifying trends in partner data.
  • You will drive trusted executive-level partner marketing relationships by using deep solution area knowledge to advise them on best practices. You’ll also collaborate with internal stakeholders to market products, as well as connect them with customer and partner opportunities.
  • You will use deep marketing and industry expertise and insights to advise cross-team stakeholders on product and process improvements. You’ll also lead account mapping by identifying sales plays that help prioritize partners co-sell.
  • As you help develop integrated campaigns with partners based on research, you will develop materials to promote the campaign and map work to align with other processes. You’ll help to develop and mutually create new partner opportunities and build the impact of partner experiences and sell-through.
  • You will serve as a compliance advocate to ensure processes are followed across teams and drive partner compliance education. You will own and drive trusted partner relationships to work toward mutual business objectives and advise through deep industry knowledge.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, manage escalations, and identify and work to connect customer and partner opportunities. You’ll pull and collect data and metrics to complete analysis, identify trends in partner and competitive data and help change partner strategies based on evaluation of data.
  • You will use deep marketing and industry expertise to provide feedback to cross-team stakeholders and partners. You’ll share and may scale successes, thought leadership, and learnings internally and externally as appropriate.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
    • Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Channel Partner Marketing experience is preferred.
Partner Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
