We are looking for a Director, Thought Leadership and Executive Communications to join the Small & Medium- sized Business (SMB) Audience Marketing team in the Modern Work and Business Applications organization.
In this role, you will shape the narrative and help leaders understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming work for SMBs. As our head content strategist, your primary objective will be to establish Microsoft as an SMB thought leader and create compelling editorial content across a range of formats designed to engage the SMB audience. You will also play a critical role in maximizing the scale, impact, and voice of the General Manager, SMB Modern Work and Business Applications Marketing through external communications including keynotes, podcasts, videos, and Public Relations.
The ideal candidate will have effective writing and communication skills, ability to create influential thought leadership, and the capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced setting. While this is a senior position in the team, you will be required to take the pen, not just manage the work. Experience working in a global, matrixed organization as well as experience in executive communications is considered an asset.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
