Overview

We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Microsoft GTM - Field Landing & Execution to build strategic joint post-sales, customer success, and adoption programs, support the global field landing of these programs, and drive collaborative execution with Microsoft. These programs will primarily be focused on customer success and services with the goal of accelerating the activation and adoption of GitHub.

Candidates for this role should have a proven record of success in revenue go-to-market program management and a deep understanding of the Microsoft sales ecosystem. Candidates should be able to develop strategies that drive global impact while meeting and exceeding joint revenue and activation targets. Clear communication, relationship building with senior stakeholders, and strong collaboration are keys to success in this role. This role reports to the Sr Director, Microsoft GTM.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and execute strategic post-sales programs focused on accelerating the activation and adoption of GitHub within and through Microsoft.
  • Maintain alignment with global joint GTM strategy and work in lockstep with Microsoft GTM Business Strategy, C/ESS, and Partner teams.
  • Collaborate with joint GitHub and Microsoft post-sales, technical post-sales, services, & partner teams to effectively plan and land adoption programs with regional field leaders.
  • Own relationships with key leadership across both GitHub and Microsoft to drive consensus for global joint sales motions and increase revenue success.
  • Provide GitHub thought leadership to Microsoft teams and work cooperatively with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of building GTM programs and/or leading customer adoption for consumption-based products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft’s post-sales organizational structure and processes, specifically Microsoft Customer Success Unit (CSU), Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD), and related business units
  • Experience within a high-growth SaaS technology company building go-to-market programs with a demonstrated history of executing complex, revenue-focused initiatives across functional and organizational boundaries
  • Experience defining, piloting, incubating, implementing and scaling programmatic post-sales and adoption programs in the field
  • Ability to work across different time zones based on customer needs with a willingness to travel when necessary (approximately 25%)

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $89,200.00 - USD $236,600.00 /Yr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
