FastTrack for Azure (FTA) helps customers onboard Azure, getting them on track to “build it right, architect it right, the first time”. We aim to engage and learn from the customer experience to drive positive change in our platform.

Our team is looking for you, an Engineer, that brings great teamwork, positive attitude, leadership, and engineering excellence to our customer-focus team chartered with enabling a world-class experience for Microsoft Azure cloud platform customers.


As a customer engineer, you will primarily be working with customers, providing thoughtful guidance & sharing best practices to ensure a quality, reliable, scalable, secured and cost optimised deployment of their applications on Microsoft Azure. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Directly engage with customers and partners to validate migration new and existing Solutions for migration solutions; accelerate the customers project, provide knowledge and insight to build the customers confidence
  • Drive product improvement by capturing product related feedback that can be triaged by the relevant Product teams.
  • Lead & help support and develop junior team members.
  • Provide local market insights and help grow the impact of the team.

Technical Experience

  • An understanding of Azure fundamentals, such as Governance, Security & Monitoring.
  • Practical hands on experience in Migrating applications from on-prem to Azure PaaS offerings.
  • Azure architecture skills.
  • Experience with and ability to lead customers with two or more of the following:
    • Azure AI
    • Application modernisation using Azure technologies such as (App Service, Storage, ASE, CDN)
    • Containers on Azure (AKS, ACS)
    • Integration using Azure Integration services (APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Logic Aps, Event Grid etc)
    • Application Security on Azure (WAF, FrontDoor, Private Networking, Sentinel)
    • OSS on Azure
Customer Facing Experience

  • Experience working with enterprise customers on Azure specific application development and deployment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with corporate customers, possess an understanding of the onboarding process and demonstrate a vision for the future of Microsoft support.
  • Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations; to lead projects and to motivate others.
  • Consulting and/or Delivery experience
  • Understanding of Customer Experience as a discipline

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
