Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

The Cloud Sourcing, Sustainability, Spares and Security (CS4) organization within CSCP manages sourcing and supply of hardware for the data centers while driving sustainability innovation through the newly formed Sustainability Program Management Office (PMO).

As Microsoft scales to become the global leader in cloud deployments and services, the Sustainability PMO in CS4 is charged with embedding sustainability across the product lifecycle by deeply understanding the environmental impact of our supply chain and cloud hardware underpinning our cloud growth.
