Our team’s mission is to drive Microsoft Teams store quality by enabling third party developers to publish enterprise grade, collaborative app experiences on Teams. In this role, you’ll work with ecosystem partners, engineering teams, and vendors to drive operational excellence for app store publish experience with quality at the core.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead app quality and validation strategy aligned with product goals and industry best practices to deliver success.
  • Manage and track store operations ensuring third party developers can publish and maintain high quality apps in an agile manner.
  • Enhance app publish experience by driving process improvements for Teams store app validation.
  • Utilize reports to track publish process and store metrics, align stakeholders through regular updates, and adjust your execution plan.
  • Drive readiness for new features in close collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers, ecosystem program managers, and design teams to define quality metrics for store.
  • Communicate with app publishers to enable effective issue resolution and gather feedback.
  • Partner with globally distributed teams to release tools that enable developers to easily identify quality issues prior to app submission.
  • Define processes and build tools to maintain quality of apps on Teams store.
  • Leverage best practices, systems, and tools to manage operational escalations from stakeholders and developers.
  • Identify gaps in developer experience during app publishing process and design tools to mitigate common issues.
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product/program management experience with proven success in working with partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and critique user experience, software, and app interface design.
  • Proven experience in driving process efficiencies through tools and best practices.
  • Experience on validating apps on an enterprise app store will be a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability for effective vendor management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills including attention to detail combined with an ability to derive insights from available data.
  • Proficiency in cross-discipline leadership, collaboration, and ability to influence for impact.
  • Innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
