Team Overview

The Magic Insights and Intelligent Experiences (MIIX) team is responsible for informing strategic decision-making and guiding organizational impact through analysis, research, & opportunity discovery. Further, we’re on the leading edge of delivering intelligent features into the Magic product portfolio to continue raising the bar of our customer experience by reducing customer friction, driving increased productivity, and generally helping customers get more done faster.

Within MIIX, our Insights and Planning team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help drive the evolution of our Data Science investments in delivering in-product intelligence through innovative AI/ML solutions as well as identifying underlying drivers of customer engagement, retention and growth among M365 users.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Data & Applied Science and Engineering teams to define the vision and roadmap for our machine learning environment to meet current and future compliance and technical requirements as we scale our business
  • Partner with Data & Applied Science and Engineering teams to create, orchestrate, and manage execution of our roadmap for productizing help and learning insights for internal and external customers
  • Establish a vision for and lead stakeholders across Magic, Customer Success Engineering (CSE), and Experiences + Devices (E+D) through a holistic, compliant, data driven view of consumer and commercial customers’ journeys across Magic experiences
  • Work across Magic stakeholders to articulate the vision and manage the roadmap for a scale experimentation platform to enable content owners the flexibility and agility to optimize our experiences with clear customer insights
  • Collaborate with Data & Applied Science teams to identify high impact opportunities to improve our experiences, and evaluate success after shipping, using product telemetry, customer sentiment data, and other signals

Qualifications

This role requires someone with:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in product management, program management, strategy or planning
  • Proven track record of successfully formulating use cases for machine learning that drive business objectives
  • An intense customer focus, intellectual curiosity and ability to tell a concise story about complex subject matter
  • Experience working with and managing deployment of machine learning models in a complex environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with hyper attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects across a broad set of stakeholders under tight deadlines
  • A proven knack for cross-team collaboration with a track record of leading virtual teams to drive results
  • Ability to shift between strategy and execution with a strong bias for impact over activity
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field preferred but not required
