Are you an experienced, and motivated leader who wants to drive the security monitoring strategy for the Azure Cloud? If so, you might be the right fit for the Principal Product Management Manager role at Microsoft’s Azure Security organization. The Azure Security organization is in charge of securing the entire Azure stack and protecting our customers. We offer cloud-scale services and tools to ensure the platform’s security.

We are looking for a Principal Product Management Manager who is interested in making Azure secure by default and tackling cloud scale challenges. Join us and make an impact! You will also collaborate with teams across Microsoft and deliver excellence through strategy, execution, and delivery. Responsibilities

• Define and execute the security monitoring strategy and roadmap for the Azure Cloud
• Deliver cloud scale monitoring solutions and products to secure Azure platform services
• Coordinate and oversee cross-organization and cross-product initiatives and success metrics
• Exercise Microsoft’s Model/Coach/Care management approach to develop and sustain a high-performing team
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years people management experience.
  

Other Requirements

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security or equivalent area
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cyber security, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• Technical knowledge of cloud security solutions for large-scale environments
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver high-impact results.
• Experience as a key contributor towards designing, shipping, and operating large-scale, cloud services.
• Experience in building and growing diverse teams with people development skills.
  
  

Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
