We are seeking a customer-focused Senior Product Manager to join our Location Services team.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our location service products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product strategy, ensuring our location services remain industry-leading and exceed user expectations. You will have a pathway to grow into a senior contributor, delivering value for Microsoft and millions of customers.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Vision:
• Define and communicate a compelling vision for our location services, aligned with company goals and market trends.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy to drive growth and market share.
• Market Analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, assess competition, and stay ahead of emerging trends in location-based services.
• Translate market insights into actionable strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Product Lifecycle Management:
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineering, data science, legal, business development, and customer support teams to understand customer needs and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
• Metrics and Analytics:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of location services products.
• Analyze data and user feedback to iterate on products and drive improvements.
  

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications: (required)

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 3+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
  

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications(optional)

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated success in developing and launching successful products in a dynamic and competitive market.
• Experience building software-as-a-service for internal or B2B customers.
• Familiarity with API development and management.
• Familiarity with product and project management tools such as Viva Goals, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency working with large datasets for researching and understanding customer needs.
