Hand in hand, the pandemic has driven an explosion of remote and hybrid work. Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 are growing explosively and, together with our 3rd party (3p) partners, enabling a wide variety of cloud experiences.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to dig deep into the customer experience to make the act of moving to the cloud seamless. This role requires a passion for customer experience and an ability to deeply collaborate with partner teams across multiple Microsoft divisions and with external industry partners to build a variety of experiences tailored to the individual partner scenario needs.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to balance multiple simultaneous competing demands while keeping your engineers focused on the roadmap you have helped to build. You will also need to consider a variety of form factors such as Personal Computers, Smart Phones, and thin clients.

Responsibilities

You will help chart the course for the cloud experience working with architects and partner teams both within Microsoft and across the industry.

  • Work in close partnership with a team of diverse and talented peers in various disciplines including design, hardware, Product Management, Software Development, Business Development, and Marketing for sustained long term success
  • Partner with the architects and the technical leadership team to deliver reliable & sustainable technical designs
  • Closely collaborate with partner teams when engineering & business dependencies exist
  • Collaborate with external partners and be able to understand their needs and find areas of alignment that will benefit both companies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working cross team to shape a product plan and drive to results
Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to dive into details and drive decisions to resolve issues
  • Clear, concise, and convincing written, oral communication and problem solving skills
  • Working with customers and driving product requirements
  • Expressing product goals as Objectives and Key Results
  • Using Azure-based services
  • Public speaking on technical topics

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
