Microsoft Time Management team is a global team responsible for building the scheduling solutions across Outlook Calendar and other M365 applications. If you want hands-on experience in designing, building, and running a global service in the Outlook, M365 ecosystem – at scales not often found in the industry - this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, shipping, and production on-call rotation.
  • Work closely with other disciplines to shape the service infrastructure and product.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, be self-directed, and work well with other people.
  • Foster a culture of being agile, innovative, team-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Build solutions accessible products fulfilling enterprise grade compliance, security, privacy requirements.
  • Contributing to team-wide fundamentals/infrastructure investments.
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests and automated integration tests.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience and outstanding coding skills in at least one of the object-oriented computer languages: C#, Java and hands on experience building UI applications with React JS, Typescript, ES6 Modules, JSX, SCSS, Webpack.
  • Good understanding of the React ecosystem and patterns including Redux/Mobx, hooks, etc. and knowledge of GraphQL is good to have.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong debugging, testing/validation, analytics/telemetry skills.
  • Deep passion for customers, design thinking, data analysis and technology.
  • Proficiency in debugging and diagnosing service issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products is a plus.
  • Bachelors, Masters, or PHD in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
