The Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) team has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Administrator in the Customer Focused Engineering (CFE) team supporting the Partner Director of Software Engineering.

The ideal candidate for this role will need to be able to navigate and change directions quickly within a fast-paced environment, have interpersonal skills, the ability to take initiative, demonstrate good judgment and maintain confidentiality. The ability to prioritize appropriately, attention to detail and consistent and timely follow-through will be essential to success.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Calendar Management with attention to accuracy, timeliness, conflict resolution and alignment to the leader’s priorities and commitments.
  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel end-to-end including the proactive anticipation of any, and all logistics and itineraries, as well as the reconciling and submission of expense reports.
  • Manage procurement for teams including purchasing equipment, services, and supplies, creating purchase orders and processing invoices.
  • Act as interim approver on team expense reports, ensuring coding accuracy.
  • Proactively manage headcount and provide recruiting support for managers.
  • Manage team distribution and security groups.
  • Collaborate on planning and support of all-up events including All Hands, offsites, morale events, and other group meetings as needed.
  • Manage budgets for morale, hardware, travel and entertainment, and training.
  • Responsible for onboarding and offboarding office set up and clean out for incoming and outgoing employees and interns.
  • Maintain a level of leadership and professionalism that exemplifies Microsoft’s values through Respect, Integrity, and Accountability.
  • Consistently demonstrate a can-do and customer service attitude.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.
  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive material and ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests.
  • Attention to detail with effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft products: Windows, Microsoft Office suite, and internal systems including, MyOrder, Employee Central, MSExpense, and iCIMS a plus.

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $27.40 - $46.49 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $37.84 - $52.98 per hour.
