​Within Microsoft Fabric, the Platform team builds and operates the unified foundation that brings together all Fabric workloads into a single, cohesive experience. The platform provides shared infrastructure, governance, security, and a unified data model that enables customers to manage their entire data estate in one place. This team is central to delivering Fabric as a complete, end-to-end intelligence platform.​

Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture.

The Fabric Partner team is responsible for building the partner ecosystem for Microsoft Fabric, covering Data Integration, Analytics, Real-Time Intelligence, Power BI and including SQL. This includes recruiting, managing, facilitating training, sharing resources, and enabling SI partners globally.

The team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Partner Ecosystem Program Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in driving our partner ecosystem strategy and strengthening relationships with our strategic partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a deep understanding of the partner ecosystem, and a proven track record in program management.

Responsibilities
  • Partner Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the SI partner ecosystem strategy, aligning with Microsoft Fabric overall business objectives.
  • Program Management: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of partner offerings, ensuring they deliver value to both Microsoft and our partners.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, acting as the primary point of contact and advocate for their needs within Microsoft.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of partner offerings, using data to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Product improvement: Supporting the collection of partner feedback that identifies industry trends, opportunities, challenges, and potential gaps and areas of opportunity within product
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Global Channel Partner Solutions (GCPS) and Partner CSA and Marketing teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of partner initiatives.
  • Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs to educate partners on Microsoft Fabric, and implementation best practices.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all partner offerings and activities comply with Microsoft’s policies and standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., cloud services, security) technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support or cross-group/cross-functional engineering
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

    • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years’ experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., cloud services, security), technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support, or cross-group/cross-functional engineering OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in program management, partner management, or a related role within the technology industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Data & AI products and solutions.
  • Partner Program Management experience and MS experience around partner channel.
  • Proven experience supporting SMB (Small & Medium Business) organizations and experience building partner communities.
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and solutions, as well as the broader technology landscape.

Partner Enablement Program Mgmt IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
