As a Security Solution Specialist, you will lead the strategic growth of Microsoft's Security business by helping organizations transform their security posture through Microsoft's comprehensive security portfolio. Leveraging advanced sales, marketing, data, and AI-driven technologies, you will engage executive stakeholders, influence business outcomes, and accelerate customer adoption of Microsoft's cloud and AI-powered security solutions.

This role combines strategic sales leadership, business development, and people management. You will lead a team of Security Solution Specialists, driving pipeline generation, customer engagement, forecasting excellence, and execution of Microsoft's security growth strategy across your territory.



Responsibilities

Strategic Customer Engagement & Business Growth

  • Lead strategic engagements with C-level executives, business decision makers, and technical leaders within enterprise accounts to identify, qualify, and accelerate high-impact security opportunities.
  • Build and deepen trusted customer relationships by aligning Microsoft's security solutions with customers' business priorities, risk strategies, and digital transformation objectives.
  • Drive customer awareness and adoption of Microsoft's end-to-end security platform, helping organizations securely embrace cloud and AI innovation.

Territory Strategy & Opportunity Development

  • Define and execute territory growth strategies through whitespace analysis, market prioritization, and pipeline planning.
  • Utilize AI-powered market intelligence and analytics to identify emerging trends, customer needs, competitive insights, and new growth opportunities.
  • Guide regional sales initiatives that address complex customer challenges while delivering measurable business outcomes.

AI & Cloud Transformation Leadership

  • Champion Microsoft's vision for AI-powered security transformation by helping customers modernize, protect, and govern their digital environments.
  • Lead the development and deployment of innovative cloud and security solutions that accelerate customers' AI and cloud adoption journeys.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams across sales, technical, marketing, partner, and customer success organizations to deliver integrated customer solutions.

Sales Excellence & Forecast Management

  • Drive rigorous pipeline management and business reviews to ensure forecasting accuracy and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics and insights to improve sales execution, opportunity progression, and business predictability.
  • Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution excellence, and consistent business growth.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field AND 7+ years of technology-related sales, solution sales, or account management experience;

    OR

  • Equivalent practical experience in enterprise technology sales, cybersecurity sales, or customer-facing business development roles.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field AND 10+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience;

    OR

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field AND 12+ years of technology-related sales, solution sales, or account management experience.

  • 10+ years of enterprise solution, services, cloud, or cybersecurity sales experience.

  • Proven success engaging C-level executives, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and business decision makers in large enterprise environments.

  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and driving digital transformation initiatives involving cloud, AI, and security technologies.

  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity trends, cloud security architectures, identity and access management, threat protection, security operations, and governance frameworks.

  • Experience leading virtual teams and collaborating across technical, partner, and customer success organizations to deliver business outcomes.
