Overview

The International Customer Success Organization (iCSU) mission is to incubate, deliver and scale world-class customer success services for Microsoft’s most strategic, innovative, complex, and globally operating customers.

We’re looking for a tenured Senior Cloud Solution Architect- Cloud & AI with deep expertise in data platforms and analytics to help customers build secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions on Microsoft Azure, who is passionate about solving complex challenges and helping enterprise customers accelerate their digital transformation. In this senior, customer-facing role, you’ll lead & deliver strategic technical engagements that span architecture design, proof of concepts, and production deployments, ensuring performance, resiliency, and security across mission-critical workloads. As part of the Cloud + AI Data team, you’ll leverage existing Repeatable IP and execution engines with accountability to drive delivery excellence, accelerate adoption, and ensure a successful deployment for the customer for services like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Cosmos DB, and Purview. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams, share best practices, and stay current with evolving trends to help customers unlock the full value of their data and AI investments.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 80% on client site and from home.

Responsibilities
  • As a strategic partner to executive-level business and technical decision makers, you will guide customers in defining and realizing their digital and business transformational targets while leveraging your expertise in relationship building and influencing mentor team in building strategic partnerships.
  • Accelerate Azure projects to production, including guidance on architectural design, technical recommendations, blocker escalations and technical resource orchestration and lead team to actively engage account to drive services consumption and up-sell and cross-set to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual team targets.
  • Act as the technical service leader and technical owner across the entire lifecycle of Success Program services focused on Microsoft AI solutions. This includes aligning service architecture and design with business priorities and requirements, orchestrating build and deployment, managing updates, and supporting change adoption.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and subject matter expertise across one or more AI service components, developing IP, influencing design and delivery quality, and enabling others through strategic guidance
  • Lead technical engagements across design, build, and operations, removing blockers and accelerating adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Databases, Purview, Azure AI Foundry, and related technologies
  • Drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor, providing feedback & insights from customers/partners as you develop and expand impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level Technical Decision Makers (TDMs), and business stakeholders.
  • Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results and help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments.
  • Support team technical skilling on Microsoft AI platforms based on area demands & Customer Success goals, share expertise in relevant communities, contribute to IP creation & reuse, and connect gaps and patterns across business and technology areas.
  • Partner with other CSAs, CSAMs, and Product Groups to drive unified delivery and technical excellence.



Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 7+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Brazilian Portuguese and English.
4+ years of enterprise customer experience in leading technical engagements; design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures on platforms like Microsoft Azure; Drive adoption, optimize workloads, and ensure long-term business value through strategic guidance and technical expertise.
3+ years of experience building enterprise-grade, cloud-based analytical solutions leveraging evolving data architectures using Azure Databricks (or similar data analytics platforms), as well as the underlying frameworks and data formats.



Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales OR equivalent experience
2+ years of experience building enterprise-grade, cloud-based analytical solutions leveraging evolving data architectures with Microsoft Fabric (data warehousing, data lakes, lake houses, streaming architectures, cataloguing & governance, and BI) as well as the underlying frameworks and data formats.
6+ years of enterprise customer experience in ANY of the following: leading technical engagements; design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures and AI-driven data solutions on platforms like Microsoft Azure; Drive adoption, optimize workloads, and ensure long-term business value through strategic guidance and technical expertise.
6+ years experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technologyExperience creating hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoC), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for data analytics solutions and data migration initiatives.
Breadth of technical experience in cloud solutions and knowledge in foundational security, infrastructure and network design, and appetite to ride on the AI platform shift and infuse AI into analytical applications.
Proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Spanish
