As Senior Global Partner Marketing Manager, Global System Integrators (GSIs), you will be accountable for a portfolio of global system integrators and lead our global go-to-market and joint marketing investments, plans, and execution with responsibility for marketing-influenced pipeline and co-sell opportunities, working across our global and regional sales and marketing teams. This role is responsible for helping grow Microsoft and partner revenue through planning, executing, and landing impactful GTM initiatives for services and solutions built on the Microsoft Cloud to drive AI-led business transformation.
You will develop and land comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives and target markets, leveraging best practices, tools, and resources from Microsoft and through-partner. This includes defining the marketing strategy, campaign development and measurement, solution launch plans, “better together” messaging, demand generation initiatives, pipeline acceleration activities, joint Public Relations, and event marketing. You will ensure effective execution of partner marketing plans, maximizing the usage of investments, providing insights and adjusting the execution plan to target business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for partners that will grow your marketing skills, business acumen, and industry knowledge, while contributing to the success of your team and Microsoft.
In this role, you will be a marketing leader with proven capability for building and landing successful go-to-market initiatives with business partners at global scale while navigating executive stakeholders and understanding strategy, product, sales, business development, and marketing functions.

Responsibilities
- Lead the global marketing alliance relationship, global marketing strategy definition, review, and end-to-end execution including campaign development and solution launch plans aligned to partner solutions built for the Microsoft Cloud.
- Understand partner’s business, plans, and objectives in partnership with global and field Partner Development Managers and Partner Marketing Managers to ensure alignment of GTM activities and marketing plans and deliver tangible impact and progress against such goals.
- Lead and influence the creation of ‘better together’ messaging, demand generation strategy, event marketing, and end-to-end GTM win formulas that connect marketing and sales tactics.
- Ensure KPIs are in place to track impact to sales pipeline, Microsoft Cloud revenue generated from joint solutions’ sales, campaigns, or offers brought to market. Ensure good budget management practices and high ROI for all marketing funds invested.
- Leverage global investments to contribute to globally scalable partner marketing best practices to optimize Global System Integrator (GSIs) partner’s impact at regional and area levels, including working with regional Partner Marketing Managers to drive alignment on strategy and execution.
- Leverage AI, technical, and industry expertise to become a thought leader and trusted advisor for assigned partner portfolio and GSIs in general.
- Land and lead the creation of new marketing capabilities, GTM maturity, and opportunities through partner experiences to help provide a competitive advantage and to land key co-marketing initiatives with and through partner.
- Contribute to a thriving team of “frontier” partner marketers who embrace AI to build and implement new marketing strategies, tactics, and operational processes to improve business outcomes, partner experience, and partner marketing success.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, business development, business management, communications, or related field AND 5+ years in sales, marketing, or business development experience in a customer and/or partner facing role, optimally dealing with a variety of audiences (e.g., enterprise customers, global system integrators, service, consulting and advisory companies)
- OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- 5+ years working directly with the partner ecosystem, the ability to provide valuable business and technical guidance to them and to secure their commitment to use business solutions
- Experienced and results-driven, and organized approach with an attention to detail: one who can create and deliver scalable plans from concept to delivery, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, effectively driving to measurable results.
- Ability to work across multiple teams along with excellent listening and partnering skills.
- Proven success working in a highly matrixed and constantly changing environment while leading program v-teams or workstreams aligned to shared goals and measures.
- Proven storytelling skills and customer obsession, advocating on their behalf, creating great partner experiences, and understanding the linkage between these experiences and business success.
- Demonstrated experience proposing, creating, and managing executive-level proposals and presentations.
- Proven go-to-market and marketing with business partners and partner ecosystems. Ability to provide valuable go-to-market and marketing strategy, marketing operations, business, and business development guidance to secure partner platform commitment and sales growth. Demonstrated track record of creating repeatable best practices on go-to-market planning, activation, execution, and measurement.
- Understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies and the work that partners do to develop, build-upon, and extend service offerings and cloud solutions. Ability to articulate both business and technical value of Microsoft cloud services to business and technical decision makers.
Partner Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
