Overview

As a Senior HR Generalist Manager, you will be a senior individual contributor who enables business performance and sustainable growth by partnering with business leaders and the broader One HR ecosystem.

You will deliver practical, high-impact solutions that balance business priorities, employee experience, and statutory requirements. Acting as a strategic integrator, you will combine business context, workforce insights, and HR expertise to support decision-making and drive better outcomes.

In this role, you will navigate labor relations, governance, and organizational change, while simplifying processes and contributing to ongoing HR transformation across the Americas.



Responsibilities
  • Partner with the business and HR teams to support growth and transformation, ensuring organizational readiness and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage labor relations and statutory matters, applying sound judgment and assessing risks in complex situations.
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects across the Americas, ensuring clear ownership, strong execution, and scalable outcomes.
  • Translate people priorities into business outcomes and future workforce needs.
  • Build trust and influence senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Turn complex challenges into clear recommendations, actions, and measurable results.
  • Leverage data, insights, and AI-enabled tools to inform decisions, improve processes, and communicate effectively.
  • Promote a One Microsoft approach by driving simplified, scalable, and sustainable HR solutions.
  • Drive efficiency and clarity in governance, improving how work is structured and executed.
  • Stay current on employment laws, regulations, and emerging trends impacting HR policies and practices.


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Legal, Business, Psychology, or related field AND 7+ years experience with HR or related experience (e.g., hiring, training, performance management) involving applicable employment laws and policies OR equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in both Portugese and English is required to support business operations in this region.
  • 4+ years knowledge of HR practices, employment law, governance, and compliance, with the ability to apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • 4+ years experience leading change and projects, simplifying processes, and delivering scalable solutions that improve efficiency and employee experience.
