Position Summary

You will participate in all aspects of development lifecycle from initial meetings with clients and internal teams, to gathering and processing data from different data sources. You will utilize various development and BI tools, including but not limited to Python programming, Microsoft SQL Server stack, Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps & Power Automate), Adverity, Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own development of dashboards to track and optimize programmatic business unit performance and campaign performance
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to identify business needs and analytics opportunities, scoping customized analyses to drive marketing and business performance
  • Delve into marketing plans, partners, and vendors to improve measurement framework and tracking implementation
  • Outline the benefits and tradeoffs of Digital Attribution, Marketing Mix Modeling, and other measurement and optimization techniques
  • Guide the creation of advanced reporting through automated processes to more efficiently consolidate data from a multitude of internal, vendor, and application specific sources
  • Access different data sources to create customized reports and data pulls
  • Utilize SQL Scripts, APIs, and Excel Macros to dynamically update reports Improve the quality of reporting by creating easy to follow weekly or monthly dashboards that key stakeholders will utilize on a regular basis to make informed business decisions
  • Utilize Excel, Datorama, DOMO and Tableau to pull data into custom charts, tables, and to showcase the most critical series of actionable business metrics
  • Manage datafeeds from DSP’s into Medibrands Datawarehouse and BI reporting tools.
  • Manage business unit pacing and reporting for multiple stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Subject matter expert and likes to educate extended team on learnings across the various platforms
  • Develop analytics and insight presentations for large spend campaign executions
  • Draw on expertise of functional experts to continually develop skills and capabilities
  • Utilize understanding of SQL to more efficiently organize and manage data warehousing
  • Assist in creation of digital reporting datamarts hosted on Mediabrands SQL Server

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Intermediate to Advanced experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis and reporting
  • Understanding of online marketing, digital media, programmatic media, web metrics, and campaign reporting
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Access
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, interact with senior management and clients, understand corporate strategy, and present actionable findings
  • Data Visualization experience (Tableau, DOMO, Datorama)
  • Prior experience in marketing analytics, consumer insights, programmatic media, ad serving platforms, media agencies, trading desks or a relevant start-ups
  • Knowledge of various measurement and campaign measurement technologies or methodologies, including website traffic analytics software, media attribution methodologies, demand side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs) or digital ad operations
  • Experience in defining/designing/building/managing performance reporting
  • Modeling and programming experience especially in the digital environment
  • Experience with any of R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Access, SQL would give leverage to this application
  • Experience in digital analytics or marketing
