Role Description

The Junior Account Manager plays a vital role in the daily operations of the account team as well as responding to major multi-million dollar Global briefs. The role focuses on the full campaign lifecycle, from receiving briefs, planning exciting media plans, effectively activating them and reporting campaign success to the client.

You will work closely with the Comms Director and Account Executive across all media channels, but with a key focus on Online. However, there will be opportunities to explore TV, Print, OOH and Partnerships too. You will be organised and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy in order to deliver best in class work and service for our client.

Key Responsibilities

Client and Account Management

  • Gain the trust and build a strong relationship with the client by developing and demonstrating your knowledge, a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering work to the highest quality
  • Work with internal stakeholders to deliver the best possible service and work for our clients
  • Act as a go to for internal partners on across projects and deliverables
  • Organising a variety of meetings internally and externally
  • Help to ensure the smooth management of account finances and administrative tasks
  • Confidence in managing upwards and escalating potential issues quickly to the Comms Director and broader team
  • Guiding the Account Executive in their learning and day to day duties

Coordination

  • Support the Comms Director in internal partner and local market coordination, look to drive innovation and brand stewardship across our teams, whilst interrogating responses and feeding back effectively
  • Managing day to day communication across the internal agency network including our creative team, as well as our external network of vendors
  • Support the team in the implementation of campaigns, ensuring that the strategy is followed and implemented as designed
  • Work closely with the agency teams to deliver accurate & timely reports to clients (e.g. spend, performance, competitive data etc.)
  • Challenge and question recommendations with the support of Comms Director to ensure the best possible delivery for clients
  • Preparing materials for presenting our work. We love a good powerpoint deck!
  • Supporting the development of work by documenting client feedback and attending review meetings.
  • Monitoring project deadlines, identifying and communicating potential changes that may be required.
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
  • Working (and lunching) with publishers and partners (think META, Reddit, Amazon, and more!)

Planning

  • Support the Comms Director, and wider account team, in the effective planning of across all media channels.
  • Attending client briefings and gathering relevant data to support the development of media communication strategies and creative briefs in response.
  • Manage media plans over the long term, exhibiting flexibility and strong management of relationships with our key media partners

Desired Skills & Experience

  • You have previous media experience and are curious about the agency and client’s business and sector
  • You are personable and persuasive, and able to work effectively with a variety of different people
  • You are organised, with great attention to detail and time management skills to be able to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • You are flexible, and able to solve problems - lets ‘Assume’ nothing and be able to deal positively with setbacks and ambiguity (media and innovation are constantly evolving at pace - we like to run with it!)
  • You take a proactive approach and consistently seek to maximise efficiency in daily task
  • You are an effective communicator
  • You are comfortable working with data
  • You are confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
