Role Description
Reporting to the Head of Growth, the Growth Director is a mid-to-senior level role at the heart of the UK Growth Team. Positioned within the newly established Growth Craft Team, this role presents a genuine opportunity to influence how we operate, broaden your experience, and make a meaningful impact across the business.
What You Can Expect
- Lead and manage the pitch process for UK media pitches, with support for EMEA and global pitches where the UK is a key market.
- Lead and support elements of the Growth team’s 2026 roadmap projects, including prospect planning, information gathering, and analysis initiatives.
- Work within a dynamic, fast-paced team, gaining exposure across all business areas within the agency.
- Gain close exposure to senior leaders within the IPG network.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Growth Team and colleagues across the agency to define and execute annual Growth strategies, proactively identifying and delivering opportunities.
- Lead specific Growth opportunities, galvanising the business to focus on and deliver against these initiatives.
- Manage the delivery of RFP/RFI responses for growth opportunities.
- Provide client perspectives to develop relevant and compelling new business proposals.
Examples of Business Areas and Workstreams:
Pitching
- Lead the agency’s response to RFIs and RFPs, managing the end-to-end pitch process.
- Develop pitch presentations, contribute to content creation, brainstorm ideas with the team, and provide your point of view on pitch narratives.
- Review client briefing documents and brief internal teams accordingly.
- Oversee creation of pitch materials, including videos, printing, and design.
- Track and ensure delivery of actions from multiple stakeholders during meetings.
- Support logistical aspects of transition when securing large clients.
Prospecting
- Work with the Growth Team to monitor updates on prospect communications and contact plans.
- Create prospecting packs and maintain updated data to share with senior team members.
- Identify opportunities for current client growth and help develop roadmaps for engagement and delivery alongside senior team members.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Extensive agency experience in a client-facing or growth role within digital or media agencies.
- Media planning and/or strategy experience required.
- Excellent project management skills with strong personal organisation and attention to detail.
- Comfortable attending client meetings, managing meeting notes, and facilitating quarterly business reviews.
- Exceptional written (proofreading and writing) and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse internal and external stakeholders at varying authority levels.
- Strong ability to understand and interpret insights and data.
- Proven team player, confident liaising with senior management.
- Solutions-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute ideas.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, balancing client relationships and pitch involvement.
