Key Responsibilities
Our team sits at the forefront of organizational innovations and design initiatives, which makes this role a great opportunity for anyone excited about the intersection of UX, UI, experience and business strategy across a suite of impactful products.
You will report into your product group’s Senior Product Designer supporting the team across all product design needs. You will also help create, maintain, and evolve products throughout the product life cycle. You will be researching, wireframing, prototyping, and handing off designs, involved in every step of the design process.
Technical Competencies
· Advanced mastery of UX Research and UI Design: Lead and facilitate workshops and project plans to conduct, synthesize and quantify research.
· Design Systems experience: Fluency with working with design systems and comfortable revising and adding components based on product needs
· Product & Engineering collaboration: Can take the lead and own end-to-end production of projects to ship features and/or implement a new product working with product and engineering teams
· Design iteration: Iterates on designs based on information provided by end-users and actively proactively seeks feedback from stakeholders
· Competency in Figma and interaction design tools: Able to design at appropriate levels of fidelity to test workflows with users and edge cases with product and engineering, as well as understanding of leveraging AI tools that integrate well with the design process to improve quality, alignment and efficiency
What You’ll Do
· Work across all phases of the design process
· Conduct user research across projects, including user interviews, surveys and testing
· Design low-fidelity wireframes informed by user research, uncovering happy paths and reducing friction in user journeys
· Design high-fidelity designs aligned with our product design system
· Collaborate across designers, product leads, strategists, creative technologists, developers, product managers, QA, producers and marketers
· Create development-ready assets for launch
· Craft functional specification documentation for our development teams
· Proactively problem solve for product goals and streamlining workflows impactfully
· Curious about creative trends and innovations
· Able to adapt to last-minute asks, changing timelines, and handling multiple projects
· Eager to learn new skillsets and try new ways of thinking
· Comfortable working from an existing design system while revising and advancing assets for product use cases
