Position Summary
The Addressable Activation department serve as Kinesso hands-on-keyboard platform experts, focusing on all aspects of successful campaign execution and stewardship. The Manager level is tasked with the oversight of junior team members, ensuring that proper standards & process are followed for setup, QA, pacing, and optimization across a portfolio of assigned campaigns. You will also function as the primary point of escalation & advice for your direct reports, guiding their development and extending their skillsets. Successful applicants must have a strong familiarity with the ad tech landscape and deep expertise with a variety of client KPIs and buying platforms. Examples include DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP.
- Provides day-to-day supervision to a team including reviewing work, coaching on performance, coordinating activities, checking on quality and work progress; generally managing within one account, or multiple small accounts.
- Assumes full ownership of programmatic programs from ideation and planning, execution, analysis, and optimization.
- Interfaces with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver innovative solutions for clients.
- Keeps management apprised of opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of marketing initiatives.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- May interact directly with clients/agency contacts and provide informal guidance and/or training.
- Analyzes information and leverages experience to identify and solve on-going or complex problems.
- Requires understanding of the industry, processes, procedures, and systems within own and related areas.
- Uses knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams (internal and external) to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives.
- Impacts the overall quality and quantity of the tasks and activations performed.
Responsibilities
- Customer/Client Management: Owns the execution and day-to-day management of a portion of a client assignment, based on specialized or technical knowledge.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Leads the vendor strategy; has experience and industry knowledge to identify vendors for key needs. Approves vendor selections and scope.
- Discipline-Specific Tasks: Owns oversight of junior team members; defines optimization parameters at the campaign level, vets optimization suggestions from partners, attends internal status meetings to speak to optimizations, pacing, and performance.
- Platform Reporting: Works with team on development of reporting dashboards; ensures clean, accurate, and actionable client reporting.
- Solutions Innovation: Identifies and delivers new audience-based addressable solutions to drive business growth; champions growth initiatives across the company.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Digital Media experience. Hands-on experience with Programmatic Media Buying.
- Proficient in advertising technology platforms and tools including Demand-Side Platforms, Ad Servers, Site Analytics, Tag Management, Ad Verification, Attribution and Measurement
- Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills.
- High competency level in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage several marketing campaigns simultaneously.
- DSP certification in all major DSPs (TTD, DV360)
- Digital Media Systems and Tools: Knowledge of technology or measurement ad tech solutions, including platforms (Intermediate)
- Data Analysis: Ability to review and analyze campaign performance and key metrics to extrapolate learnings and optimization strategy. (Advanced)
- Relationship Management: Managing existing business relationships, partnerships, and alliances internally and externally (Advanced)
- Communication: Engage in both written and verbal communication with clients, agency partners, and internal teams. (Intermediate)
- Problem Solving: Anticipates, recognizes, and clearly defines problems using various techniques to systematically analyze, weigh alternatives and propose solutions (Advanced)
- Relationship Management: Managing existing business relationships, partnerships, and alliances internally and externally (Advanced)

Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred.

The salary range for this position is posted below.
