Position Summary
As a Director within Kinesso, you will help transform the business into a leading and profitable sales and consulting practice, driving tech equity into IPG as a key differentiator. Reporting to the VP of Global Business Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients identify and design solutions to realize the full value of their consumer base, data assets, technology infrastructure, and media investments to drive record-setting business outcomes.
The objective of the team and this role is to accelerate IPG Mediabrands growth by delivering strong revenue gains through attracting new clients and delighting current clients to retain and expand their engagement. Business Solutions leads the client engagements on behalf of Kinesso, focusing on providing presale support to new business pitch teams, leading or co-leading expansion opportunities with existing clients, developing and leading post-sale implementation plans, and managing ongoing engagement to ensure strong business impact for our clients. This role is a combination of selling, consulting for technology + data solutions, and providing paid consulting for enterprise-scale transformations.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily with IPG Mediabrand agencies (UM, Initiative, Mediahub, Kinesso) and Acxiom in the US to position the Applications and Services offering in the context of the agency's media offering and Acxiom’s data clients.
- Lead the communication, pricing, and selling of our data, applications, and services as core solutions to client's challenges as part of the respective agency’s pitch and cross-sell/up-sell process.
- Collaborate directly with agency partners and clients to understand, document, and clarify client needs (stated and unstated) related to audience data and activation.
- Identify and resolve technical or commercial barriers to the success of the sale and the ultimate success of the engagement.
- Develop specific approaches and gain alignment to project plans for clients that instill confidence in our ability to deliver the intended benefits, estimate scope and pricing, and guide post-sale implementation efforts.
- Ensure the long-term health of client relationships by delivering strong results and ensuring key client stakeholders recognize the success and value of those results.
- Work with Kinesso global ad ops and marketing sciences teams to identify clients with strong growth potential in their respective offerings.
- Lead and design strategic approaches and methodologies for data implementation across multiple objectives.
- Ensure solutions achieve client data initiatives while maintaining regional privacy compliance on a global scale.
- Participate in or co-lead training, commercialization prep, product, or partnership development initiatives as needed.
- Contribute to the evolution of successful Kinesso product design, use case development, and relating agency and client needs to drive successful sales and adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated success in helping clients take concrete action based on analytics and data.
- Strong understanding of the global data and ad tech ecosystem with a focus on data infrastructure, media activation, measurement, and strategy
- Working knowledge of data factors driving project success (e.g., PII vs. anonymized data, cookies vs. people, panels vs. census data).
- Proven leadership skills across multiple business units, organizations, and reporting structures.
- Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to drive clarity in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Technical sales, sales support, and solutions design experience, especially in a dynamic technology and data environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing analytical, commercial, and emotional elements of a client relationship.
- Working knowledge of global and US data privacy regulations.
- Understanding of audience analytics capabilities and good practices in the current environment.
- Strong presentation and pitch story development and delivery skills.

- Ability to engage, develop, and give feedback to drive the success of colleagues not reporting to you directly.
- Willingness to travel to clients and other firm offices up to 60%.
- EMEA, LATAM, and/or APAC market knowledge is a plus.

The salary range for this position is posted below.
