Position Summary

This will need to be a very senior role at the IA leadership level. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex contract negotiations with a solid understanding of the evolving media landscape locally. This person must have experience building and managing large relationships and/or responsible for strategic discussion with all stakeholders. In this role, they will work closely with cross-functional partners to execute strategies and partnerships that drive meaningful value and will work closely with the internal teams and to deliver results. The role will require them to works closely with the leading partners in the ecosystem and is responsible for managing those relationships

Key Responsibility Area

  • To deliver large scale success stories on both building brands and driving performance marketing initiatives
  • To share in depth consumer understanding of different industries & awareness of global digital trends
  • To work on measurement mechanisms for both understanding brand campaigns as well as performance
  • Review and inform campaign and category learnings to support the business
  • Execute in an intense & fast-paced environment
  • Have understanding of brands and its positioning and Insights into consumer online behaviour.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationship between clients and group agency partners, providing knowledge and support during strategy, ideation, and execution.
  • Provide inputs for media strategies to ensure effective utilisation of business objectives and constantly review the effectiveness of media basis the insights generated by internal or client insights team.
  • Play a vital role in the integration of cross-functional capabilities and ensuring seamless delivery of integrated planning.

  • Develop strong data mining and insight skills to bring issues/concerns/opportunities to clients' attention and offering potential solutions.
  • Key motivational/attitudinal behaviour is necessary.

Qualifications

Education and requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related field required, Advanced Degree a plus.
  • 13 plus years’ experience in media planning & Buying and/or business development background
  • Experience with handling high pressure and low TAT clients
