Role Description

Our EMEA Talent (HR) team aims to be the driving force behind talent brilliance. We elevate, empower, and enrich people's experience enabling them to fulfil their potential and exceed our goals.

A team of 10, reporting into the Chief Talent Officer, EMEA, we support the goals of the business by enabling our 21 local market HR teams with best practice, tools and technology, ensuring a consistently adopted operating model for our Talent Management systems and operations. Our team consists of Centres of Excellence, Talent Operations and Strategic Talent Partners.

These initiatives help drive the market and regional KPIs and align with and complement our Global Talent goals.

We are looking for a driven and proven Talent (HR) Operations Manager to join our EMEA Talent team as we support our business to deliver its exciting growth and transformation plans.

This role will report to the Head of Talent Management, EMEA and work across the function to bring operational excellence to our talent strategy via consistent and accurate use of our Talent systems and the delivery of an operational strategy delivering efficiency and consistency across the region.

You will be the subject matter expert for our local market teams and the conduit between the markets and the Global Centres of Excellence.

System responsibilities include Recruitment, Assessment, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, GDPR and the Compliance Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • With a holistic, end-to-end perspective, identify gaps to improve use of Talent operations and systems to deliver on our KPI’s and talent strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement, using technology and automation to drive efficiency and simplify the way we work within a global and regional context.
  • Provide innovative solutions and seek new tools and AI that offer improved but compliant solutions.
  • Introduce, review, enhance, and improve policy, procedure and process to ensure best practice and compliance.
  • Understand market nuances and provide bespoke and tailored plans to support the teams on their journey to leveraging Talent technology.
  • Embed our culture of inclusion and SHINE behaviours throughout the talent lifecycle.
  • Be people focused and service-orientated, supporting the delivery of high touch employee and candidate experience.
  • Partner with legal, internal audit, compliance, IT security teams where appropriate.

System Responsibilities:

  • Key subject matter expert answering back-end questions, making changes, training on day-to-day functions and helping markets utilise the systems within the scope of our technology.
  • Project manage Talent systems launches and implementations, working closely with the Global Talent Solutions team and local markets.
  • Identify areas of improvement within existing Talent Tech, helping to find solutions and workarounds to support the markets.
  • Perform regular data audits, ensuring market integrity.

Training & Education

  • Ongoing education and upskilling of the markets to ensure all markets are actively and confidently using all Talent systems and processes.
  • Create regional training materials, support documents, and 101 support where required. This includes adapting global materials for regional audiences.
  • Maintain the EMEA Talent Community Hub with relevant content and training materials.

Compliance

  • Understand the key GDPR compliance requirements of IPG and Mediabrands and be familiar with relevant internal policies and processes to ensure markets remain compliant through their systems.

Relationships, Management & Training

  • Build and maintain close relationships with the Talent teams across EMEA, acting as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to the markets. helping them to find local relevancy while maintaining regional & global consistency.
  • Work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Global Talent Acquisition Operations Manager to support Talent Acquisition processes and roll out.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • You have a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and the ability to look at technology through a Talent lens
  • You have demonstrable experience in operationalising processes in large complex business structures
  • You have experience with Talent technology (we currently use Greenhouse, Leapsome, Docebo and PeopleSoft, Workday, Perceptyx, Visier)
  • You are an expert in project managing the configuration, rollout and implementation of Talent systems
  • You are comfortable and confident presenting information and training on technology and process
  • You have a strong understanding of GDPR, preferably with experience across multiple countries
  • You have the proven ability to be flexible, adaptable, and collaborative in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment, working well with multiple stakeholders
