Role Description

The Mediabrands Media Operations team is a centralised unit based in London and supports our planning & buying teams. The team is responsible for ensuring delivery excellence by being a central hub for booking delivery, trafficking and activation, as well as financial reconciliation and campaign closure.

You will be responsible for the success of the existing media operations team in Initiative, both onshore & offshore. You will ensure the governance of various ongoing projects and processes – making sure that the media operations processes are being adhered to.

This role will also include leadership on various new features and implementations. You will be working closely with external stakeholders such as Media Ocean and Asana.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and manage the Media Operations team in India and be a key escalation point
  • Sustain key defined processes and adherence from your assigned Agency
  • Project manage driving adoption of new features and functions within MediaOcean as instructed by the Head of Media Operations
  • Support Head of Media Operations to identify innovative ways to drive standardisation and efficiencies across the media buying process and further enhancements across the process
  • Act as the main point of contact within the assigned agency and act as a liaison between main agency stakeholders and leads in India
  • Work closely with agency senior management to facilitate exchange between offshore & onshore
  • Support Head of Media Operations to recruit and manage the rest of the offshore team (circa 8 FTE for each agency)
  • Manage the onboarding of new clients into the media operations process and help onboard new agencies e.g Mediahub, Reprise etc
  • Any other tasks deemed appropriate from a media ops capacity

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Expertise with standard digital media operational systems & tools including: MediaOcean and Prisma
  • Experience managing and leading teams
  • Experience liaising with a broad range of functions and teams, as well as media owners/vendors, tech 3rd parties & finance counterparts
  • Demonstrable process improvement delivery
  • Experience working and nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of data analysis and manipulation is desirable

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Proven track record in driving team delivery, confronting issues, barriers, lack of delivery/performance whilst maintaining positive team culture and reinforcing team morale
  • Ability to engage key senior stakeholders and also speak the language of the business
  • Strong communicator and natural diplomat
  • Detail-oriented, organised, conscientious, with the ability to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent time management skills, being able to effectively prioritise against deadline
