Role Description

An exciting opportunity to join the vibrant Investment team and play a key role in delivering marketing excellence across a selection of big accounts, including: Money Supermarket and Just Eat. The AV Apprentice is tasked with playing a vital role You will work closely with the Investment Manager within an integrated activation team to deliver critical business whilst having autonomy to develop video and audio planning and buying skills within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the TV and BVOD landscape in the UK
    • Support the Investment Manager in implementing the right process and procedures for effective day to day management of all activity
    • Accountability: on-going tracking of value and quality deliveries and attendance at reviews
    • Alongside the planning team ‘Sell in’ annual plans / large briefs across all video and visual channels to clients
    • Develop innovative solutions with media owners and sell-in clients
    • Share knowledge and understanding across the team and wider agency
    • Able to optimise campaign deliveries on a spot-by-spot basis by selecting the best trading audiences and programming that maximise conversion to target audience
    • Support the Investment Manager in implementing the right process and procedures for effective day to day management of all activity
    • Accountability: on-going tracking of value and quality deliveries and attendance at reviews
    • Alongside the planning team ‘Sell in’ annual plans / large briefs across all video and visual channels to clients
    • Develop innovative solutions with media owners and sell-in clients
    • Share knowledge and understanding across the team and wider agency

Can I apply?

Anyone can apply for the Media Apprentice role, so long as the following criteria is met:

  • You do not have a degree in a media/marketing/advertising related field
  • You do not hold a prior qualification at the same or higher level which is similar to this apprenticeship (Level 3 Advertising and Media Executive)
  • You are not on another Department for Education funded training programme, including another apprenticeship
  • You have the right to work and live in the UK (You cannot begin an apprenticeship on a Student Visa)
  • You have lived in the UK, EEA, Gibraltar or Switzerland for at least 3 years
  • GCSE Grade A-C or 9 – 5 in English and Maths is preferable. If you have not achieved a grade C/ 5 and above, you will be required to take a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English alongside your other qualification.
