Position Summary

We are looking for an Associate Director, Content Management to join our team here at UM/Mediabrands.

Experience should include campaign management ranging from media-centric branded content programs to experiential based consumer engagement initiatives.

It is essential to not only effectively navigate cross-channel programs for clients but exhibit strong strategic thinking skills as well as knowledge around emerging media platforms.

The Content Management team plays a vital role within the agency, driving content initiatives from ideation through execution in addition to being a liaison to the strategy, planning & research teams throughout the agency. As an Associate Director, you must help to unearth content opportunities within the organization, architect and execute content programs across platforms, and provide creative solutions to road bumps that arise throughout the ideation & execution process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Account and Media teams to identify content opportunities, as well as elevating standard media partnerships that have content elements
  • Brief partners on content opportunities as well as provide feedback and insight on partner proposals
  • Evaluate and provide POV on opportunistic partnership proposals
  • Manage tactical components of custom programs both leading up to and after each campaign, such as calendars, recaps, post reports, etc. and present relevant insights on results/outcomes
  • Actualize marketing owes with assigned partners
  • Oversee competitive monitoring in the industry and marketplace trends
  • Day-to-day responsibilities including reporting, program negotiations, execution, and document upkeep
  • Executing contracting & legal agreements
  • Manage overall media promotions and custom execution budgets

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years professional experience in media, marketing, advertising, agencies, production, creative or the arts – client experience required
  • Past experience in media buying, planning or sales a plus
  • High level of comfort and ability in presenting to clients and internal team members
  • Self-Starter, demonstrates initiative
  • Creative and adaptive thinker that enjoys learning, taking on unfamiliar challenges, and shaping new strategic approaches and frameworks
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Thrives in fast paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Advanced knowledge of industry trends
  • Solid research skills, including systems training
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Creative/copy-writing ability a plus

The salary range for this position is posted below.
