Position Summary

The Social Media Producer facilitates IPG Mediabrands interactions with audiences through supporting content strategies on social media platforms and engaging the IPG Mediabrands communities.

Duties include content creation, collaborating with talent teams to amplify key culture moments and initiatives and build corporate culture, compiling and analyzing engagement data, managing employee advocacy initiatives, and identifying trends in community interactions.

You'll be a skilled writer and copyeditor with a keen aesthetic sensibility, and ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and brand identities in a compelling fashion. A passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion is a must, and a strong interest in professional and personal development is a key trait, as well as a core passion for social media, marketing, and brand strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in execution of campaigns and ensure consistency across social media channels and brands.
  • Monitor and analyze social media data to ensure strong post performance and brand awareness.
  • Represent the Social Media team with internal cross functional partners like Talent Attraction and Development
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology to aid scaling brand and company awareness on popular social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Assist in the social media and community interaction between people and the company, and ensure a positive audience experience with the IPG Mediabrands’ community and prospective employees.
  • Engage employees internally, increase employee engagement and brand loyalty, and broaden IPG Mediabrands’ social media presence by managing employee advocacy platform.
  • Craft content around thought leadership, culture, recruitment, and professional development
  • Maintain team content file management, ensuring creative and documentation is organized and well maintained

Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years of social media management experience (preferably in a B2B industry, agency, or technology related field)
  • Strong aesthetic eye and experience in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is a plus
  • Strong writing skills and copywriting experience. Must be a dynamic thinker and learner, with a pulse on the latest trends and an interest in technology.
  • A passion for DEI and a love for professional development is a key trait. Must have a passion for collaboration and thrive in people facing, cross-functional professional settings.
  • Relevant experience creating unique social media and marketing campaigns, and campaigns focusing on culture, thought leadership, and community are a plus.
  • A strong team player who is also comfortable with self-directed work
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with project management tools like Asana.
  • Experience using multi-social posting programs such as Sprout Social is a plus.
  • Ability to solicit feedback, build consensus and demonstrate critical thinking.

The salary range for this position is posted below.
