| HR Generalist (Contractor) HR Generalist (Contractor) SCOPE OF ROLE The HR Generalist (Contractor) will play a key role in supporting human resources operations at a dynamic nonprofit organization. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position will collaborate closely with the Talent Team to manage onboarding, offboarding, payroll support, benefits administration, compliance, and HR reporting for a multi-state workforce. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and external HR vendors to ensure seamless operations and compliance. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience LOCATION Chicago Preferred SALARY RANGE $24-$28 hourly The skills and experience of qualified candidates will determine the exact compensation for which this job is filled.
