About the Team

DoorDash’s New Verticals organization focuses on accelerating one of our strategic pillars ⁠— DashMart, our grocery and convenience delivery offering. We’re building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. The Warehousing as a Service team brings the full power of DashMart to customers with new use cases and new lines of business that will operate within our real estate.

About the Role

As an Associate, you will support the growth of DashMarts Warehouse as a Service (WaaS) initiatives by developing and owning tools while working towards site-level capacity improvements for our parcel delivery service. You will own analytics and reporting for multiple WaaS work-streams, intercompany payment modeling, site-level volume capacity modeling, and plan development for site-level capacity unlocks.

You will report into the Manager, Parcels & DashMart as a Service on our Warehousing as Service team in our New Verticals organization

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Ideate and develop analytical tools used to build various WaaS initiatives, especially focusing on our parcels delivery service.
  • Support the WaaS team’s growth through maintaining a close partnership with our finance partners by owning weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Utilize your knowledge of data and WaaS operations to help build new processes to refine approval, launch, and growth procedures.
  • Work directly with local operations leaders to unlock site-level capacity through various levers, thinking strategically about the best course of action for the business while ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Provide support to our systems and tooling teams, focusing on analytics and storefront execution

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have strong data analysis skills, including proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • You have strong cross-functional skills and have experience with projects spanning multiple teams.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in business, analytics, finance, supply chain management, or a related field
  • You have 1+ years experience in high-level analytical tooling and/or modeling and customer-facing tools including Dashboards.
  • You have experience working with financial data and teams, and a sufficient understanding of key financial terms
  • You have experience working directly with on-the-ground leaders to develop solutions

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
