YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Manager who is comfortable working in software development and platform environments, can effectively bridge business and technology stakeholders, and takes ownership of the successful end-to-end delivery of complex IT initiatives.
Location: Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)
This position follows a hybrid working model in Budapest. We are currently considering applicants who are based in Hungary and eligible to work in Hungary.
YOU WILL
- Lead IT projects and digital product development initiatives from initiation through delivery
- Coordinate international teams of software engineers, testers, business analysts, and architects
- Define and manage delivery roadmaps, project plans, and release schedules
- Identify, manage, and escalate technical and business risks
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and Solution Architects
- Manage dependencies, resources, and priorities across multiple workstreams
- Oversee project financials, timelines, and quality objectives
- Promote delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and best practices
- Prepare project status reports, executive summaries, and decision-support materials
YOU HAVE
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, Delivery Management, or Technical Project Management roles
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud-based architectures, APIs, integrations, and modern engineering practices.
- Proven experience leading software development projects, digital platforms, or system integration initiatives
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and a systems-oriented mindset
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with a structured approach to problem solving
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Experience working in international and enterprise-scale organizations
- PMI, PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master, or similar certifications
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration and delivery management tools
