Role Overview

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing developing and delivering high quality Salesforce solutions aligned to business needs within the Financial Services and Insurance domain The role requires strong technical expertise in Salesforce configuration and customization understanding of industry processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver scalable secure and compliant solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Salesforce components including Apex classes triggers Lightning Web Components Visualforce pages and integration services according to established development standards
  • Configure Salesforce objects workflows flows approval processes validation rules page layouts and security models to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST and SOAP based services middleware platforms or API frameworks as required
  • Support testing cycles by providing stable components resolving defects and validating end to end user journeys
  • Ensure optimal performance security and scalability of Salesforce applications in compliance with platform best practices and organizational guidelines
  • Contribute to code reviews documentation and continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery team
  • Work within Agile delivery frameworks provide status updates identify risks early and propose mitigation actions

Required Skills and Experience

  • Hands on experience in Salesforce development using Apex Lightning Web Components SOQL SOSL and asynchronous processing models
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration including data models flows security settings and automation capabilities
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds relevant to Financial Services such as Financial Services Cloud Service Cloud Sales Cloud or Experience Cloud
  • Understanding of insurance processes such as policy administration underwriting claims billing agent operations and customer servicing workflows
  • Experience with API integrations authentication protocols and integration patterns
  • Knowledge of CI CD practices Git based version control secure coding methods and deployment automation
  • Strong analytical thinking problem solving abilities and communication skills with the capability to work with distributed teams

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or related field
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications are preferred such as Platform Developer Administrator or Consultant credentials
  • Industry experience in Financial Services and Insurance or prior project experience in a regulated enterprise environment is an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned deliverables effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality solutions
  • Comfortable working directly with clients participating in discussions and contributing to solution design decisions.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 109,000 to 139,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
