We are looking for a strong skilled & motivated Technical Lead with deep experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end robust design and implementation of data solutions. This role demands exceptional problem-solving abilities, quick decision-making during incidents, and effective crisis management. The individual must thrive in challenging situations, coordinate across teams, and deliver immediate fixes when required. Beyond technical proficiency, the role requires strong leadership to guide a team of engineers, foster collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure alignment with the broader enterprise data cloud strategy. This individual will drive efficient and secure data flow, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
• 8+ years of experience in implementation of large enterprise data cloud / data hub projects
• 5+ years of Working in enterprise data lake / data cloud/ data hub projects
• Experience in a technical leadership role
• Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – BigQuery, Cloud Composer (Airflow), Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL
• Programming: SQL, Python
• Data Engineering: ETL/ELT pipeline design and orchestration
• Data Warehousing: BigQuery
• Problem-Solving & Crisis Management: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues quickly
• Leadership: Team guidance, collaboration, and handling challenging situations
• Knowledge in other cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement robust data pipelines and workflows using GCP Composer (Airflow), BigQuery, data quality, data lineage, and metadata management and data security.
• Develop and optimize scalable data engineering solutions leveraging GCP services (Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub).
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly; lead crisis management efforts to minimize impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Mentor and guide team members; provide technical leadership and support during challenging situations.
• Ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations.
