Job Description

Capgemini is seeking the UX Creative Director to build and lead our next-generation UX practice. This is not a traditional UX role—it’s about reimagining customer experiences in the age of Generative AI and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will be a creative leader who understands how AI is transforming consumer behavior, buying journeys, and digital interactions—and can harness this power to design experiences that are proactive, personalized, and deeply engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the Future of UX: Establish a forward-thinking UX strategy that leverages AI to create dynamic, adaptive experiences for customers and agents.
  • Innovate with AI: Integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI into research, concepting, and design workflows to accelerate creativity and insight generation.
  • Customer Journey Intelligence: Design experiences that anticipate customer needs based on their buying journey, using AI-driven insights to deliver proactive engagement.
  • Agent-Centric Design: Reimagine UX for a world where customers and AI agents interact seamlessly, creating intuitive interfaces for multi-agent ecosystems.
  • Build the Practice: Develop a high-performing UX team, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure UX strategy aligns with business goals and technology capabilities.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, UX, and consumer behavior; evangelize best practices internally and externally.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 15–20+ years in software engineering, including enterprise architecture.
  • Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Software Engineering, Data/AI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong customer orientation, decision making, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
  • Very good judgement skills and ability to shape compelling solutions and solve unstructured problems with assumptions
  • Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural and multi-functional teams spread across geographies
  • Ability to roll sleeves
  • Strong executive presence and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Superb leadership and team building skills with ability to build consensus and achieve goals through collaboration rather than direct line authority
