Your Role

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define, architect, and govern OpenText ECM solutions tightly integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Design end‑to‑end content management processes including document capture, archival, metadata design, and business workspace integration.
• Ensure OpenText designs align with SAP functional, integration, security, and compliance requirements.

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead a team of OpenText consultants, developers, and functional specialists across onshore/offshore delivery models.
• Oversee build, configuration, and deployment of OpenText solutions, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to program standards.
• Collaborate with technical and functional stream leads to maintain alignment across the broader program landscape.
• Provide guidance on defect resolution, integration topics, and migration waves when transitioning from legacy ECM platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate design workshops with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams.
• Provide clear, structured updates to program governance forums, ensuring transparency across scope, risks, and budget.
• Coordinate closely with SAP Basis teams to ensure seamless landscape design, installation, upgrade, and technical integration activities.

Quality & Standards

• Drive a high‑quality engineering culture, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture, documentation, development standards, and security policies.
• Promote best‑practice use of OpenText components such as xECM Workspaces, Archive Center, Document Pipeline, and Capture/OCR capabilities.

Your Profile

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) and OpenText Archive Center in SAP environments.
• Proven background designing OpenText solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing multi‑disciplinary technical teams.
• Deep technical understanding of OpenText system architecture, performance, administration, and integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, and translate complex concepts into actionable design decisions.
• Experience working closely with SAP Basis, security, and integration teams on installation, upgrades, tuning, and system troubleshooting.
• Ability to maintain high‑quality deliverables across design, build, testing, and transition stages of large‑scale programs.

Desirable Certifications

• OpenText Certified Professional (various modules)
• SAP‑aligned certifications relating to ECM integration
• ITIL or equivalent service management certification
