This is a unique opportunity within the Insights & Data (I&D) Global Business Line (GBL) to help build the AI business in Malaysia. You will help our customers with their AI journey.

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in defining and shaping GenAI enabled capabilities within Wealth Management and Investment Banking.

This includes leading requirements analysis, discovering high value use cases, and designing scalable processes that leverage AI to improve advisor effectiveness and client outcomes. The position works cross functionally with relationship managers, product teams, compliance, and engineering to build AI copilots, streamline research, surface actionable portfolio insights, and deliver suitability and next best action engines. The ideal candidate brings strong financial domain knowledge, robust business analysis skills, and a strong interest in emerging AI/LLM technologies.

Your Role

• Drive domain‑centric business analysis to shape GenAI solution frameworks.
• Conduct structured GenAI use‑case discovery, scoring, and feasibility validation.
• Produce end‑to‑end solution designs, functional specs, and LLM requirement documents.
• Ensure adherence to data lineage, compliance mandates, and risk controls.
• Lead delivery orchestration, QA cycles, UAT, and change rollout.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment through strong cross‑team collaboration.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Business Analyst experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset/Investment Management.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, advisory workflows, KYC/suitability, and the full trade lifecycle.
• Skilled in preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and BPMN/UML process flows.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLM solutions (RAG, copilots, summarization, automated insights).
• Familiarity with platforms like Avaloq, Temenos, Charles River, Bloomberg AIM.
• Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory frameworks (PDPA, GDPR, MiFID II, MAS/BNM).
• Hands‑on with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Visio, Power BI, Miro.
• Understanding of AI governance, model evaluation, or prompt engineering.
• Certifications such as CFA, FRM, AFPM/CFP, CBAP, or PMI‑ACP.
