React Native Developer (Remote in México)

Your role
- Design and implement mobile features with React Native, TypeScript, and ES6+, using React Hooks and best practices for functional components.
- Model complex client state with Redux (and Redux Toolkit where appropriate), applying clear action/reducer patterns and middleware for side effects.
- Use Context API for lightweight global state and cross-cutting concerns (theme, localization, session).
- Integrate secure RESTful APIs, handle offline scenarios, and persist data locally with Realm.
- Build high-quality UI components with CSS-in-JS / Styled Components, ensuring responsiveness, theming, and maintainable styles.
- Set up and maintain unit tests (Jest) and E2E tests (Detox), targeting critical flows and regression hotspots.
- Diagnose issues with mobile debugging tools (e.g., Flipper) and optimize performance (startup time, memory, render throughput, bundle size).
- Implement push notifications (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging) and platform-specific capabilities when needed.
- Prepare releases and manage App Store / Play Store submissions, including signing, certificates, metadata, and phased rollouts.
- Contribute to CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions) for automated builds, test runs, and store delivery; help mature the pipeline over time.
- Champion accessibility (a11y) requirements (focus order, scalable fonts, color contrast, screen reader support).
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum, refine stories, estimate, and deliver incrementally; mentor peers and review code for quality and consistency.
Your profile
- Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
- At least 3+ years of professional experience relevant to the role (Mid & Senior levels)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- High proficiency in React and React Native with a strong command of TypeScript and JavaScript ES6+.
- Deep experience with React Hooks, Redux, and solid understanding of Redux Toolkit abstractions.
- Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs, error handling, retries, caching, and offline sync with Realm.
- Strong UI skills with Styled Components/CSS-in-JS, component composition, and design systems.
- Solid Git fundamentals (branching, PRs, rebasing) and experience on GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Proven track record with Jest unit tests and working knowledge of Detox for E2E.
- Practical experience with mobile debugging (Flipper, RN DevTools) and performance optimization.
- Experience publishing to App Store and Google Play, including handling review feedback and store compliance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and release automation.
- Awareness of a11y standards in mobile apps and how to apply them in React Native.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira (or similar).
