Electrical Engineer (México - relocation to US)

Your role
- Designs Electrical System diagrams including harnesses.
- Works closely with other engineers on routing harnesses and placing electronic modules.
- Programs embedded modules (logical visual programming language).
- Assembles and tests experimental wiring harnesses, electronic modules, and other electrical equipment and components.
- Troubleshoots electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations.
- Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment and performs preventive and corrective actions.
- Works from wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion and performs installation.
- Adjusts and replaces defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron.
Your profile
- Good conversational English (C1, C2)
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in EDA tools
- Proficient skills with analog/digital circuit design.
- Lead DFMEA process.
- Proficient in functional safety analysis.
- Has leadership skills in coaching mentoring and guiding other engineers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have experience and skills with Altium designer or equivalent

- Work modality: remote in Mexico, training in the US (tourist visa needed). Then, permant relocation to the US.
