YOUR ROLE

As a Record to Report (R2R) Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality financial services delivery while managing a team of professionals. You'll be responsible for overseeing financial processes, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

YOUR TASKS

  • Leading a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Overseeing complex financial transactions, period-end close activities, and reporting processes according to established procedures and timelines.
  • Applying process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to drive continuous enhancement of financial operations.
  • Managing client relationships at the local country level, ensuring service levels are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Reviewing and approving General Ledger journals, accruals, provisions, and other accounting entries according to established procedures.
  • Monitoring reconciliation processes including bank statements, intercompany balances, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial controls and contributing analytical insights to financial and management reporting.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, particularly in Record to Report functions.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Upper intermediate English proficiency (CEFR Grade B2 or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in coaching and developing team members.
  • Experience with financial systems and technology platforms.
  • Professional accounting qualification or pursuing certification is a plus.
