ABOUT ROLE

Cloud Tower Lead is a solutions architecture role within Capgemini's Solutioning division. As Cloud Tower Lead your job duties may include providing the most robust, optimized, cost-effective, and victory-oriented cloud computing solutions. Going beyond the traditional standards you create solutions for driving growth, innovation, and client satisfaction in the rapidly evolving cloud computing market.

YOUR PROFILE

General

  • At least five years of experience in Public Cloud area, with an emphasis on Presales and Solution Management (Run Services and Project/Transformation areas).
  • In-depth knowledge of IT architecture in Public Cloud solutions. Familiarity with Private and Hybrid will be a plus.
  • Aptitude in cost estimations Cloud Services, delivering information from the market and preparing strategy for a specific BID ie.: taking part in full pre-sales lifecycle from RFI responses/requirements analysis, running a scoping exercise or engaging in a prototype of concept for agreed requirements.
  • Fluent in English and German both spoken and written.

Technical

  • Strong understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP platform features.
  • Experience in conducting presales projects based on cloud solutions like migrations, transformations to public clouds, cloud enterprise service management etc.
  • Proficiency in developing formal sales proposals, and responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs.

Commercial

  • Performing risk assessments, price modelling, building cost cases, defending solutions and cost models.
  • Understanding and identifying non-standard requirements and drafts e.g.: SoW, SLA, cost models, business cases, proposal responses, proposal presentations and project plans.
  • Demonstrate experience presenting technical topics in front of a senior audience, including CxO levels.

Customer engagement

  • Developed proficiency in performing presales level consulting and due diligence type work for complex deals to ensure smooth transition to actual delivery teams.

YOUR TASKS

  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for the solution across transition, run, and transformation in the Cloud Tower area.
  • Developing Tower Cloud solution-related elements with the support of specialists such as the BID Manager, Solutions Architect, and Solution Specialist.
  • Providing detailed costing model, including inputs from SMEs, licenses, 3rd party services, HW/SW, etc.
  • Working with other members of the Cloud Tower team to align solutions RACI and RAIDE and to avoid gaps and overlaps.
  • Clearly articulating the basis of any subcontractor/supplier (e.g., cloud supplier) quotes, including assumptions and exclusions, and the validity period of pricing – working directly with Capgemini procurement or subcontractors.
  • Supporting the Commercial Lead with the draft/mark-up of the schedules relating to your part of the solution (SoW, SLA, etc.).
  • Driving end-to-end process services related to Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and winning client engagements.
  • Preparing and delivering solutions, product presentations, and demonstrations to customers.
  • Bringing in market intelligence from a portfolio 'competitiveness' standpoint, both from the global and regional markets. Key areas are analyzing the client buying patterns, price points, and third-party analyst views on the portfolio.
  • Having a good grasp of similar portfolios available in the market, with the ability to analyze, stitch, and customize some of the core portfolio services and solutions, as per specific client needs.
  • Recognizing potential transformation opportunities and their impact on the run.
