YOUR ROLE
This is a newly created role within the Tax & Statutory team, designed to strengthen our client's global tax and statutory reporting capabilities. In this position, you will be responsible for managing a team of specialists and analysts and ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of tax and statutory data across multiple jurisdictions.
You will work at the intersection of GBS operations, in‑market finance teams, external Service Providers, with a strong focus on governance, quality, and continuous improvement.
YOUR TASKS
- Lead and manage a team of up to 10 tax and statutory reporting specialists, driving performance, engagement, and development.
- Own and oversee end‑to‑end delivery of tax and statutory reporting processes, including: statutory accounts, corporate income tax (CIT), VAT and indirect taxes, group tax reporting, query management, and ETR forecasting.
- Ensure high quality and accuracy of financial data provided to external Service Providers for tax compliance filings and statutory accounts preparation.
- Manage and monitor the performance of Tax Service Providers against agreed KPIs.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives across tax and statutory reporting.
- Oversee and strengthen tax governance, controls, and SOP documentation in line with the Tax Governance Framework.Support complex topics and peak workloads, including escalation management.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders (Head of Tax & Statutory Delivery, Group Tax Centre, in‑market and regional finance teams, external auditors and tax authorities).
- Contribute proactively to the company community, knowledge sharing, and cross‑functional collaboration.
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum 7 years of experience in tax and statutory reporting in an international environment (preferably SSC/BPO).
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong expertise in statutory reporting, corporate tax, VAT / indirect taxes, withholding taxes, group tax reporting and forecasting.
- Solid understanding of month‑end processes and trial balance production.
- Experience working with or managing outsourced tax/compliance providers.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial data flows.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP accounting systems (ex. SAP, CFIN).
- Track record of driving process change and continuous improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a global environment.
- Curiosity, ownership, and a proactive, “can‑do” attitude.

- Tax or statutory expertise in UK, US, Germany, Spain, or Australia.
- Advanced Alteryx knowledge.
- Additional languages (German, Spanish, French).
