Job Description
Your role We are seeking an experienced Data Science Specialist to join our Data Analytics & AI team in Colombia. In this role, you will design, build, and validate datasets that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning solutions across the company.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Work directly with customers to validate network designs and solutions
- Design and execute test plans in lab environments
- Support Data Center and Enterprise network implementations
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and collaborate with engineering teams
- Work closely with Sales and Solution Architects on upcoming initiativesContribute to innovation and process improvement across engagements
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 3–8+ years working with Cisco networking technologies
- Strong knowledge of L2/L3 routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, ISIS)
- Experience with Data Center or Enterprise networks
- Hands-on with Cisco platforms (Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ISR)
- Basic skills in Python / automation / scripting
- Familiarity with virtualization, VPNs, MPLS, SDN
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to customers
