Your role

In this role, you’ll get hands-on with designing and building cutting-edge web and mobile applications, ensuring they’re fast, scalable, and easy to maintain. You’ll collaborate with talented teams from a range of backgrounds and technologies, sharing ideas and expertise as you deliver solutions that truly empower our public sector clients. • Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web and mobile applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and modern frameworks and libraries, with Angular as the preferred front-end framework.
• Collaborate with architects and fellow developers to create robust, scalable, and secure architectures for new projects and enhancements to existing systems, particularly those serving the public sector.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to improving our teams’ development processes, tools, and techniques to enhance productivity and product quality.

Your skills and experience

• Solid experience in full stack JavaScript development, with a strong emphasis on Node.js and server-side technologies.
• Expertise in Angular as the preferred front-end framework (experience with React or Vue.js also valued).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with at least one leading Node framework (Express.js, Nest.js, Hapi.js).
• Experience with TypeScript and modern development tools and practices.
• Background in Test Driven or Behaviour Driven Development.

Your Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
